The interior is very bright and cozy. When I went up to the counter, Rachel and Lina greeted me with such great vibes. 10/10 customer service. Also, the pies taste amazing.

Better line management is needed. This my favorite pie place! And they were one of the Hour Detroit 2026 winners, so they are in demand. However, during recent visits, only one staff member has been working, resulting in extended wait times. Customers purchasing a single item often wait behind customers with larger orders. And the staff member is engaging in extensive conversations with customers while there's a line. Not the best customer experience. Having a second staff member during peak times, or the staff member quickly processing simple orders while preparing larger ones, could help improve efficiency and reduce wait times for a better customer experience.

first time here and was so impressed! Rachel was so helpful and even explained the passion of the family that runs it and.... DID YOU KNOW you can sample the pies first? really amazing tasting and we definitely walked out with more than we expected! no regrets!

For many years I have been a very good customer of Achatz in Troy, especially the French Silk. The last two times I have bought the Silk pie and it is not the same great crust, now it is like a hard cookie and slides around the dish it is served on. It will be awhile before returning to purchase any pies. Not worth the price to see if a crust correction is made.

Absolutely the most delicious pies!! Tried the lemon meringue, and Dutch apple. Ordered thru DoorDash. Will definitely order other items. If my review was helpful please like and follow me please!
